Dr. Mills has served as Superintendent of Schools for Stephen-Argyle Central for the past 20 years and Elementary Principal for the past 17 years.  He is current serving as the Cohort 7 Administrative Leader for the 4 school collaboration that makes up the group.  In addition, Dr. Mills serves the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Rural Education Association and the Minnesota Association of School Administrators.
Stephen-Argyle Central Schools in collaboration with Northland Community and Technical College, Tamarac Senior Assisted Living Center, and the 21st Century Community Learning program has developed a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program that provides direct training program to student at Stephen-Argyle Central and students in our Northwest Minnesota Region to become CNA and be eligible to provide service at the Tamarac Senior Assisted Living Center and other regional nursing home and care facilities. The course and hands-on lab are located at Stephen-Argyle Central and the Tamarac Senior Assisted Living Center. Our school nurse has been trained and certified to provide the instruction and certification for the program. We work with Northland Community and Technical College on the testing of the students for their final certification. The program has produced 14 new CNA's in the last year and we hope to offer 3 more cohort groups of 5-7 students before the end of the calendar year.
