TILT your Teaching: Reaching Underserved Students with a Transparency Framework

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
The Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT) project offers a simple-yet-significant way that instructors can make their teaching much more effective, particularly for underserved student populations such as first-generation college students, students of color, and working-class students. By clearly describing the purpose, task, and criteria for each activity or assessment, instructors can significantly improve confidence, belonging, and metacognition, resulting in increased retention and improved student performance.
